Survivor Blood vs Water: Location Info

CBS recently announced that The 27th season of the long-running reality TV show will have a 90-minute premier on September 18, 2013. This means that fans have less than 2 months worth of wait before the new season premiers.

Host Jeff Probst had already spilled some hints about what the new concept is about, but there is a less talked about aspect of this new season - the location. This season, Survivor will make a return (for the third consecutive time) to the Philippines. But instead of filming in Caramoan Islands where seasons 25 and 26 were filmed, they will be transferring to a new, equally exotic locale - Palaui Island.

This particular island is located at the northernmost point of the Philippines' Luzon Islands. This island is known for its picturesque, untamed beauty with dramatic rock cliffs, scenic meadows and stunning beaches. Hence, it is the perfect setting for the next installment of Survivor, which promises to be as beautiful as the Caramoan Islands.
